"Slowness is
my ally, the key to
my Kingdom.
Who am I?
My name is Sandia.
One phrase defines me well: I navigate life like a tightrope walker on a rope. I cultivate balance in the heart of chaos.
Very early on, I understood that imbalance would dictate the rhythm of my life. I felt out of sync, often afraid, if not always withdrawn, my foot on the brake. I observed the speed around me without plunging into it. I remained a spectator of Life as it was passing by.
When yoga crossed my path, it was love at first sight!
I was recovering from a car accident, and my therapist directed me to yoga as a last resort.
28 years later, I am still passionate about these daily reunions with my mat, and this lifestyle which, despite the chaos, finally offers me a form of balance.
I see, hear, and sometimes live within this imbalance. I am not yet equipped to be in it and to be swept away by it. So I have chosen slowness and silence, discipline, and resilience. I cultivate my voluntary simplicity daily in order to discover the limitless wonders that the breadth of my passion for exploring the Body, the power of thoughts, plants, and Life in general can offer me.
I consider myself a Woman of the Earth: close to nature I better understand our reason of being.
But for the sake of my family's well-being and my calling to serve others, I chose to live near cities. That's where needs are greatest. That's where chaos reigns. That's also where distress spreads, from which hope emerges.
So this is where I am, with an outstretched hand and a listening heart, ready to accompany you if you need a space to recharge or to try to discover other perspectives, for a short while together.

My philosophy
Look at life with the eyes of a child.
This philosophy of life has always followed me since I did not understand the urgency of growing up and throwing myself into this infernal chaos without logic: Studying and working to BECOME (conditional) instead of emphasizing on BEING (realistic).
In my opinion, each step has a reason for BEING in order to lead us TO BECOME.
I wanted to emphasize these concepts when I mastered my role as a mother. It was then that I freely and consciously applied this philosophy, aware of the role model I was on a daily basis.
Children are my most beautiful philosophical nourishment.
What can be done to preserve this vision?
Nurturing the concept of awakening through wonder. Awakening of the senses, spiritual and scientific awakening, awakening of consciousness, of listening to oneself and others, to the world in general and its contrasts. In the macro as in the micro, there is so much to discover all the time!
With each discovery comes adaptation. With each adaptation, an adventure. And each adventure is an experience. The cycle is endless. A child's goal, like a plant's, is to grow as best as possible within their environment.
We are all children trying our best to play the adult.

Want to share?
I enjoy teaching, but what I love most is learning, exchanging ideas, and creating. To ensure I can continually grow and share my knowledge, I rely on you to tell me what you want, like, or don't like.
Also, if you have any ideas for collaborations, workshops, retreats or conferences, feel free to tell me about them: I'm all ears!
